I remember his smile which always greeted me when I entered the room - his smile lit up the room. He lit up the office.
I enjoyed his enthusiasm for whatever we were talking about, whether it be analyzing a medical problem or a question of medical technology or computers.
I enjoyed his logical mind and I appreciated his understanding of science and medicine.
I enjoyed his whimsical sense of humor - and his laugh.
I appreciated his tokens and words of kindness.
A little known secret is that doctors don't always look forward to every patient's visits. I always looked forward to visits by Ted.
I liked Ted.
I wish he were with us.
